Synopsis

The plot follows the wicked wizard Abanazar, who learns from spirits that the magic lamp he seeks is located in a Chinese laundry in Peking and can be retrieved by Aladdin, the launderess’s idle son. Aladdin’s adventures include defying an imperial decree to catch a glimpse of Princess Badroulbadour, leading to romantic complications. The story progresses with Aladdin acquiring and losing the magic lamp, becoming a prince, and ultimately rescuing his beloved princess from Abanazar’s clutches in Morocco.
