Barnum the Musical is an American musical with a book by Mark Bramble, lyrics by Michael Stewart, and music by Cy Coleman. Based on the life of P. T. Barnum, this show covers Barnum’s life from 1835 through 1880. Traditional musical theater combines with circus acts like jugglers, trapeze artists, and clowns to create an unforgettable experience.

The Tony Award-winning original Broadway production opened in 1980 and ran for 854 performances; it was followed by a London production in 1981.
